Ways of Change's Handmade Bags are an embodiment of co-creation, defined by the traditional Kayan patterns of the refugee women who made them, enlivened with colors from the runway and swayed by modern design.

These Handmade Bags are unique to the 'Terra Ma' Collection named for the 'feminine wisdom' of those who created each piece thanks to their valuable skills and experiences.

Handwoven Bags have been a long time in the making; we sourced hand dyed organic cotton from a local village, women engaged in two levels of sewing training and three levels of large loom weaving training in order to create the interior lining of the bags.
