WOC GIRL: THE JETSETTING FASHIONISTA

Meet The JetSetting Fashionista who joined Ways of Change for a fun 'Winter Getaway' in San Francisco recently. Pack your bags with cozy knit sweaters, lots of WoC jewelry for layering and a statement making belt to dress up any look and you are ready to hit the road!

What is your daily uniform? During the day it's skinny jeans, booties/flat boots or ballet flats, a JCrew Tissue Tee shirt and a blazer/bomber. Typically it's a leather bomber in black, white or pink (my FAVORITE color!) or a simple blazer. I dress up this uniform with a fun bag, scarf and jewelry. In the evening I dress up the daily attire with kitten heels, the booties and a more sexy fun top!

What are your top 5 JetSetting essentials?

1. A scarf  is an essential both for function (for layering and warmth) and to add some color or print excitement to my outfit.

2. I also love jewelry. I'm usually wearing braceletsearrings & rings or more fun novelty jewelry such as statement necklaces.

3. My laptop and Boise headsets. Wherever I am, I'm always writing and posting new content to the blog. The boise headsets distract you from everything to create a peaceful working environment.

4. My Nikon J5 Camera. This has been life changing. It's small so I can take it everywhere and the pictures are amazing, even better than the newest IPhone.

5. My daily uniform. Ballet flats or flat boots are essential for travel since you never know when you'll be running in the airport or doing lots of walking (take for example Heathrow where you could walk 1M between gates and duty free shopping!)

Best holiday destination?  The Caribbean where I'm going this December for a week cruise with Celebrity Cruises. I can't wait to enjoy St. Maarten during December!

Best advice you have ever received? Give more than take. I try to utilize this with my blog and give lots of praise, social media love and shout outs to those I think do their craft well and I'm proud to support.

Your favorite WoC pieces? I'm obsessed with the Kan Bo Bangle and the Layered Cuffs worn with the Rom Bo Bead RingCoil Ring. They are so simple yet add a great dimension to any outfit and support a fabulous cause which is the BEST part!
